Great book launch for BEYOND CLOSURE

The launch of my latest book, Beyond Closure, on 28  April 2021 was a striking success. There were lots of attendees, a reading from the book, a lively Q&A with Peter Thabit-Jones of Seventh Quarry Press and three free signed copies to lucky winners.

I was surprised at how nervous I was beforehand. I’ve done plenty of public speaking and I always get a bit nervous, but this was different. It was Zoom – still not completely familiar territory for most of us.

There were advantages. People came from all over the country, and indeed from other parts of the world. There was no venue to sort out and no champagne to buy (was that an advantage?).

On the other hand, what if the technology didn’t work? What if nobody came? But it all went off without a hitch, in large part due to Corinne Minshull of The Really Useful Co., who has been working with me throughout the birth of Beyond Closure… and beyond.

It was a great evening.
